You need to be a BTC member to book a session and you can join via the bookitzone link on our membership page.

If you are interested in joining but want to try a session first please contact chairman@boltontri.com or a committee member and we will book you in for an introductory session. After that you will need to join to attend further sessions.

We now use ClubSpark for session booking. This requires payment on booking. The link is below. Please save it to your favourites. There is an attendance limit on our sessions due to COVID prevention guidelines. Each session comes up for booking 7 days in advance.

Leverhulme Park sessions

  • Mondays Younger Juniors run/bike 7 to 8.05 pm ages 7 to 10
  • Mondays Older Juniors run/bike 7.30 to 8.40pm ages 10 to 15
  • Mondays Mark's Tortoises Run group 7 to 8.10pm - seniors/14+
  • Mondays Neil's running groups 7 to 8.10pm - seniors/14+
  • Wednesdays Track running session 7 to 8pm- seniors and juniors who like running.
    Ask if you are not sure.

Smithills Swim session

  • Thursday 7 to 8.15 - juniors who can swim at least 100m continuous front crawl with correct breathing technique and at least 50m back and breaststroke. Limit of 16

Bolton One Swim session

  • Thursday 7.30 to 8.30pm - seniors/14+ must be able to swim 200m continuous front crawl. Limit of 22

Farnworth swim sessions

  • Saturday Juniors 3 to 4pm - all abilities but must be able to swim 100m any stroke. Limit of 30
  • Saturday Seniors 4 to 5.15pm. All abilities. Limit of 30

Horwich Swim Sessions

  • Saturday Seniors/14+ 4.15 to 5.30pm. All abilities. Limit of 30
  • Friday Early Session 5.30 to 6.45am. Seniors/14+. Advanced swimmers able to do all strokes.

Turton Swim Sessions

  • Tuesday 8 to 9pm – seniors/14+ must be able to swim 200m continuous front crawl. Limit of 16
  • Tuesday 9 to 10pm – seniors/14+ all abilities. Limit of 16

Paying for training by direct debit

If you are going to train regularly more than once a week it will probably be worthwhile setting up a direct debit with us. To do so e-mail treasurer@boltontri.com . The rates are at http://www.boltontri.com/fees.html. Once you have set up your direct debit you can then book sessions up to 3 weeks ahead giving 7 days notice by e-mailing bookbtc732@gmail.com

• To attend swim sessions you will need to fill out a coaching consent/medical form.
(After 2 sessions we will ask you to join the club)

• We will also ask you to join the club for open water sessions. This is for insurance and safety purposes.
